Accord

Freedom to choose is everyone’s birthright. It is in alignment with Universal principles. Each living entity must choose for itself how they are going to behave. Our response is always ours to own. We may choose to respond from a place of compassion and a genuine desire to reach a harmonious outcome. Or, we may choose to allow our ego-mind to react out of anger and fear, creating unnecessary harm or discord.

When we come from a higher spiritual place, where our hearts are aligned with our Soul’s knowing, we are more apt to create the circumstances that will bring peace to the situation and harmony with those with whom we have a relationship. This builds trust, patience and understanding between the parties involved. Sometimes it is better to wait to implement changes in order to give people a chance to adjust to the new idea.

Agreement brings with it the power of consensus. When people are in agreement with each other they tend to do their part with more passion and purpose. Click To Tweet Reluctance creates procrastination, and at times upheaval. Much is accomplished when everyone is on-board.

There are times when it may be necessary to make decisions that are for the highest good of the ALL, even though there may be one or two who do not yet understand the advantage. Time may not be available to wait for them to come into accord. This is usually rare, as most decisions in life follow the natural flow of evolution.

Peace, harmony and good will can be fostered by honoring each participant, giving them voice, so they may have the opportunity to share their own unique way of perceiving the situation, and also so they may see from many other points of view. Dialog honors everyone involved, and it gives each person the opportunity to grow from these newly shared perspectives.
