Move On

How can you shift your awareness from what is bothering you to that which would bring about relief? Try to shorten the time you need to figure out what is causing you distress. Once you realize that you are feeling less than optimal seek to find the antidote.

For instance, when you feel physical pain in your body, locate the issue and remove the cause, such as, finding and removing a pebble from your shoe. If the problem is chronic, then it is time to look deeper into the cause, which may be emotional or environmental. Seek out that which would bring a permanent relief, like expressing pent up emotional trauma, or removing the toxins in the environment.

Once you have discovered the underlying issue and removed that which was causing you anguish, then you can replace the old feelings of discomfort with more appropriate feelings of gratitude for the problem solved. Do not get hung up on the uncomfortable feelings. And do not keep the old emotions current by retelling your story over and over. Try to move on, instead.

This can be difficult. Many people like to share their tough stories with others. This does not serve a positive purpose, unless you are sharing from a place of strength in order to assist someone else to overcome the same issue.

Be careful to keep yourself current and positive. You do not want to recreate the difficulty by keeping it in your thoughts. Move forward into your positive co-creative ventures. Leave the past behind you. Click To Tweet
